A 3-year Health Resources & Services Administration (HRSA) Grant was awarded to Inter Island Medical Center (IIMC).

It provides FREE psychiatric services to adults and children of San Juan County using high-tech 3D videoconferencing equipment.

Every patient must have a primary care provider who screens, makes a referral and oversees the patient.

The psychiatrist works for Island Hospital in Anacortes, WA.

Appointments are generally held on Wednesdays.

Consortium members include IIMC, Compass Health in Friday Harbor, and San Juan County Health & Community Services.
